Is there any way through steam to get the bundle WITHOUT HL2? I want the episodes, TF2, etc but just not HL2 and I don't wanna buy them seperate. I looked around but only saw the Orange Box. _________________

Nah, Orange Box is the only bundle afaik.
Even if you've got HL2 it's still worth it _________________

Oh well, thanks. It will have to wait. Just made a server payment so I'm a bit short on loot at the moment. Damn car being towed... _________________

I have to say that Portal was a darn good game and very very funny.
And because I spent a lot of time poking around, and now that I'm playing Episode 2, I realize that's there a big connection between the 2 stories. Cool.
Did anyone else find that login and password in Portal? What's it for? I can't find a keyboard to enter it in. _________________

That's hilarious! And you have to remember the old DOS commands to do it. What a crackup.
Also from some blog

Interesting facts: I think by far the most interesting thing about Portal is the fact that there are no men in the game at all. You are female. The previous test subject was female. GLaDOS self-identifies as female. GLaDOS mentions “Bring Your Daughter To Work Day” and also states at one point that you can donate your organs to the Aperture Self-Esteem Fund for Girls. In fact, the only male presence in the entire game are a few pictures on the wall and the ***** easter egg you find in ******.
The final song “Still Alive” was written by Jonathan Coulton, which explains why it’s so awesome. It was performed by Ellen McLane, the voice of GLaDOS. Ellen McLane also voices the announcer in Team Fortress 2 and the Overwatch voice in the Half-Life 2 series, making her the only person to be in every game in the Orange Box. |
