I "acquired" a copy and played through SP completely and got 100% (completed on Hardened AND Veteran) and got quite a few stars in the Special Forces missions. It was decent but not worth the $60 they are asking for it on the shelves here. I can't play MP so I haven't had to deal with those headaches.
It was a pretty decent SP but once you've finished it 100%, there's not much replay value. _________________

lol ... i kind of like this game. i sense there are quite a few cheaters, but most of my online play has been fun.
although i think mw2 is a step down from cod4 in many ways, there are some things i like. i definitely like the demolition game and the riot shield has been fun to use.
anytime some cheater uses a tactical nuke, i leave the game before i die, hoping others will follow so the cheater only kills himself
overall though, there aren't any other games to play (until the new MOH game comes out)
nice to hear from you mats! _________________

I've still not bought this game, in fact I've not played much of anything online for a long time. Well, I am addicted to Mafia Wars and Vampire wars on Facebook! _________________

I'm still sticking to my boycott...the only thing I've done is watched my roommate play through the single player on his Xbox.
He keeps trying to get me to play Spec Ops with him, but I shall remain resolute.
Until I see a copy of the PC version available for $15 or less that is. _________________

You'll probably be waiting for a long time. Modern Warfare is still $40. You would have thought that with the release of two more COD games since it was released that it would have dropped more than ten bucks in price. _________________

That was kind of a joke
I know that Activision will never drop the price...hell they'll probably drop it to 49.99 and say "Oooohh Look! Its on sale! We're so generous to you disgusting plebs! Give us all your money!"
Admittedly there is a glimmer of hope that I'll be able to play it for myself with proper controls and dedicated servers...but I know that will likely never happen. _________________
