There are two sections
to the [PMOH] Guild rules, general server behaviour
and our recruitment info/code of conduct. Please
take the time to read them all thoroughly,
especially the server rules, so that you are aware
of what is expected of you. Thanks.
[PMOH] Guild
Server Rules (Updated 18th November 06):
General Server Behaviour
1. The Console is
the voice of the server admins, listen to it and do
not disrespect it in any way. A player will be given
two direct warnings from the console, if they fail
to comply with the request after that then they will
be kicked.
2. Refrain from using profanity. The aim of our
server is to be a fun and friendly place for people
of all ages to play and so cursing is to be kept to
a minimum. As with point 1, two warnings will be
given and failure to comply will mean the player in
question will be kicked.
3. Do not get involved in arguments with any other
player. If you have a problem with someone on the
server, contact one of the [PMOH] Guild admins
immediately through the
forums.
Do not let a disagreement descend into a flame war
as it makes our server look bad.
4. No spamming the voice commands or the chat
facilities. This is annoying, it irritates players
and makes it far less likely that they will return.
A single taunt every now and again is fine. Again,
two warnings will be given and failure to comply
will result in expulsion.
5. Offensive names. If you see a name that is
offensive to you or may be considered offensive to
others, politely ask the player in question to
change their name. If they do not then contact an
admin at the
forums.
Players will be asked twice to change their name and
kicked if they fail to do so.
6. Impersonating a [PMOH] member. They say that
impersonation is the highest form of flattery but
the Guild members consider it to be rude and
insulting. Any of the following will cause you to
get warned or even banned:
• Directly impersonating a member ie joining the
server with a Guild member’s name and tag.
• Wearing the [PMOH] Guild tag in front of your
screen name
Game Behaviour
1. Team Killing (TK'ing)
- The act of killing or wounding a team mate. Do not
under any circumstances intentionally TK a team
member or fire at them. If you are seen to be doing
this you will be kicked and are liable to be banned.
This is a lame action that detracts from peoples’
enjoyment of the game. If you accidentally TK
someone then apologise and ‘Watch That Friendly
Fire!”. A few people have taken to TK’ing and
apologising to make it seem like an accident, it has
been noted and our admins are watching for it. They
are also watching for people who fire on their own
team but not enough to kill them, you have been
warned.
2. Spawn Camping. Spawn camping is the act of
staying in one spot and knowingly firing into the
enemy team’s starting position (spawn) on the map.
Spawn camping is generally not acceptable behaviour.
There are some modes of game play that require you
to attack and capture an enemy spawn point. If you
are playing one of those modes, then attack and try
to capture the spawn point. Merely setting up camp
in a nearby area and spawn killing without trying to
capture the spawn is both unacceptable and lame
behaviour. It will get you kicked.
These rules apply to
public players, server regs and [PMOH] Guild members
alike. Nobody is above the rules of the server. If
you have any questions or comments about the server
please contact one of the admins through the
forums.
**Disclaimer: At the
discretion of several admins in agreement, a person
who is flagrantly disregarding the rules may, in
some circumstances, be kicked or banning without
warning.
Thanks

Membership
Guidelines & Code Of Conduct
Entry/Membership Entry into the [PMOH] players guild
is by invitation only. Considerations that we take
into account include:
• Your relationship
with the other Guild members and Forum Guests. We’re
looking for nice people who get along well with
others.
• Any assistance you
provide to the people on our
forums
who may have questions or problems. If you can use
the forums search function, you can help people
• Your behaviour on
the [PMOH] Server(s)
• A willingness to
help out with public Guild matters, participation in
Guild events and displaying a will to go beyond the
call of duty.
If you are invited
to be a Guild member, you will be initiated into the
Guild and allowed to wear the [PMOH] tag both on the
forums and the server, should you wish. You will
also be given the server and voice comms passwords
for the Guild server which must be kept secret. All
members are expected to maintain the qualities
suggested above or they will lose their membership
in the Guild. Maintaining membership requires that
you remain in good standing with the [PMOH] Guild
Coucil and [PMOH] Members.
Consistent
inappropriate behaviour in the forum(s) or on the
server(s) will result in the loss of your membership
and/or suspension from the server(s). The decisions
of the Guild Council is final. If you are absent
from either the forum(s) or the server(s) for more
then 30 days you will be put on the Inactive list.
If at any time you wish to be put on active status
again simply post in the forum(s) or private message
one of the other guild members, and they will get
you back to full active status
